Kim So Hyun is positively considering starring in the upcoming K-drama Good Boy
On August 4th, several media outlets reported that Kim So Hyun will be joining the cast of the upcoming K-drama Good Boy. According to reports, she will be working alongside Park Bo Gum and Oh Jung Se, who are also in talks to lead the series.
IEUM HASHTAG, the agency of Kim So Hyun, has confirmed reports that the actress has received an offer to star in an upcoming K-drama. They have stated that Kim So Hyun is currently considering the offer in a positive light.
The upcoming project “Good Boy” is being directed by Shim Na Yeon, known for her work on “The Good Bad Mother” and “Beyond Evil,” and written by Lee Dae II, who has worked on “Chief of Staff” and “Bring It On, Ghost.”
Should Kim So Hyun confirm her participation in the upcoming K-drama, it will mark her reunion with the screenwriter after a gap of seven years. The duo had previously collaborated on the 2016 series, Bring It On, Ghost.
The K-drama My Lovely Liar has recently premiered and Kim So Hyun is one of the stars in the show. She shares the screen with NU’EST Hwang Min Hyun, Seo Ji Hoon, Lee Si Woo, Yun Ji On, and Nam Hyun Woo.
Kim So Hyun, known for her role in My Lovely Liar, is set to star in the new K-drama Is It Fate? alongside Chae Jong Hyeop, Yun Ji On, Kim Da Som from SISTAR, and Yoon Jun Won.
The story of Good Boy focuses on medalists in international competitions who have become police officers through the Olympic special recruitment program. Instead of wearing their medals from the games, they now wear police IDs around their necks and find themselves surrounded by immoral and corrupt individuals.
No information has been released yet about the character Kim So Hyun will play. However, Park Bo Gum and Oh Jung Se are both considering roles in the Korean drama in a positive light.
