Netflix K-Drama ‘Tomorrow’ Season 1: Release Schedule, Cast & Everything You Need To Know.
The new fantasy k-drama of MBC has been making buzz on social media even before its premiere. Tomorrow is an ongoing South Korean television series directed by Kim Tae-Yoon and Sung Chi-wook, starring Kim Hee-sun, Rowoon, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Yoon Ji-on.
Based on the Naver webtoon which was published in 2017, the series is about the grim reapers who guide the dead to save the people who want to die. It premiered on MBC TV on April 1, 2022, and airs every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 (KST). It is also available for streaming on Netflix.
Following a week’s delay, Tomorrow launched at the beginning of April. Featuring Alice’s Kim Hee-Seon and SF9 K-pop boy band member Rowoon, the show spins a fantastical premise around one of South Korea’s most persistent hot-button issues: suicide.
Thanks to the staggering success of K-dramas and K-pop, the global image of Korean culture is riding high. Dazzled by attractive young idols and breezy stories festooned with high fashion and bright, popping colors, viewers may naturally have formed an idealized image of the country.
