Actress Park Ji Ah, widely known as Song Hye Kyo’s mother in The Glory, passed away at the age of 52.
On September 30, Park Ji Ah’s agency announced that the actress passed away at around 2:50 AM. The actress collapsed due to a brain hemorrhage and later passed away.

The actress peacefully passed away at the age of 52 at 2:50 AM KST on September 30 due to cerebral infarction.
A wake will be held in Room 2 at Asan Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM KST on October 2.
Park Ji Ah was a dedicated and passionate actress who loved her craft. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
Park Ji Ah made her acting debut in 2002. She is active in K-dramas, movies, and musicals.
The actress was last seen in the 2024 film Hijack 1971 led by Ha Jung Woo, Yeo Jin Goo, Sung Dong Il, Chae Soo Bin, Moon You Kang, and Im Se Mi. She portrayed the role of Yeo Jin Goo’s mother in the movie.
Park Ji Ah is best known for starring in the hit Netflix original K-drama The Glory. She impressed everyone with her performance as Song Hye Kyo’s mother in the series. This was also the actress’s last official K-drama project before she passed away.
