I feel like Tang Yan and her next drama Lady Liberty is trying to capture the same hit and zeitgeist that Crystal Liu did with her The Tale of Rose, big name female lead centric with multiple big name male leads in sectional stories woven through her life. Nothing wrong with that and it’s nice to have her get her centerstage big drama showcase with two age compatible male leads in Mark Chao and Feng Shao Feng. The visuals will be interesting as Tang Yan is sporting a very short cropped hair during the filming commencement ceremony and the first drama stills of the male leads show diametrically opposite vibes, Mark looks like the poor artist with a sensitive soul while Feng Shao Feng is doing his best modern suave businessman impression.
