October 2024 is fast becoming loaded with new period C-dramas. Last week there was Snowy Night Timeless Love with Li Qin and Zeng Shun Xi and also The Rise of Ning with Zhang Wan Yi and Ren Min. Next week is reportedly Kill Me Love Me with Liu Xue Yi and Wu Jin Yan. There may be more but the biggest behemoth is coming at the very end of October as industry word is that The Story of Pearl Girl with Zhao Lu Si and Liu Yu Ning is airing with a 40-episode count. There is also new rumor that the previous few weeks investor reach out for the drama garnered such a strong response and investment that the drama is being elevated from a S+ to a S++ level budget. This means prestige, more media attention, and way more money to spend on advertising. So so excited for this one!
