Volleyball-themed K-movie One Win dropped a new poster.
One Win tells the story of a women’s professional volleyball team that has never experienced a single win. The coach has never won a game, the team owner doesn’t care about winning, and the players have no idea how to win — yet they all embark on a challenge to claim just One Win.
The determined look in the eyes of coach Kim Woo Jin (Song Kang Ho), who has lost every game he’s coached and has just been appointed head coach of the nearly disbanded team Pink Storm, conveys his commitment to giving his all in training the team. And the confidence of the eccentric team owner Kang Jeong Won (played by Hellbound‘s Park Jeong Min), who makes an extraordinary promise to give 2 billion won if the team wins even just one game this season, catches the eye.
The energy of the players, including Pink Storm’s captain, Bang Su Ji (played by Queen of Tears‘s Jang Yoon Ju), is vividly conveyed. The text on the poster “Let’s win just this one time” hints at their desperate desire for victory.
One Win, which marks the first collaboration between one of South Korea’s biggest movie stars, Song Kang Ho, and rising actor Park Jeong Min, also casts talents such as Park Myung Hoon and Lee Min Ji.
One Win will be released on December 4.
