Actress Shin Sae Kyeong will replace Nana, who has withdrawn from Humint due to scheduling issues.
Shin Sae Kyeong’s agency, The Present Company, stated to Dispatch, “Shin Sae Kyeong has confirmed her appearance in Humint” and added, “She is set to play the role of Chae Seon Hwa, a North Korean restaurant worker.”
Directed by Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun director Ryu Seung Wan, Humint is a spy action film that follows North and South Korean secret agents who clash while uncovering crimes occurring at the Vladivostok border. Zo In Sung, Park Jeong Min, and Park Hae Joon have confirmed their appearances.
Shin Sae Kyeong is offered the role of Chae Seon Hwa, a North Korean restaurant worker. This role was originally intended for Nana, but her participation fell through due to scheduling issues.
Nana’s agency explained, “It was difficult to adjust her overseas schedule, so she decided to decline the role.”
Humint is scheduled to start filming in the coming months.
