Ju Ji Hoon‘s upcoming medical K-drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call has confirmed its release date for January 24.
The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call follows Baek Gang Hyeok (Ju Ji Hoon), a genius surgeon who has performed surgeries even in the most chaotic situations. He takes on the mission of leading a neglected trauma team at a university hospital.
The teaser raises anticipation for the K-drama’s spectacular narrative. Following the question, “Is there anyone in Korea who could be considered a trauma specialist?” Baek Gang Hyeok’s gives a grand entrance. From his first day as the new attending trauma surgeon, Baek Gang Hyeok shocks everyone with his skills and unconventional behavior, turning the hospital upside down. His bold proclamation to transform the underfunded and sidelined Trauma Team into a full-fledged Trauma Center surprises everyone.
Baek Gang Hyeok’s relentless determination to save lives, even at the risk of his own, adds an electrifying thrill, a trademark of medical K-dramas.
