Geum Sae Rok will reportedly join the upcoming tvN K-drama Typhoon Boss.
On November 21, media outlets reported that Geum Sae Rok will be the female lead in the upcoming K-drama Typhoon Boss which was also offered to 2 PM’s Lee Jun Ho.
According to her agency BH Entertainment, Geum Sae Rok is positively considering the casting offer to star in the upcoming K-drama.
Typhoon Boss will showcase the struggles of Typhoon Company and their employees during the 1997 IMF crisis.
Director Lee Na Jung, known for creating the popular K-dramas Fight for My Way, See You in My 19th Life, Mine, Love Alarm, Oh My Venus, The Innocent Man, and more, will direct the upcoming series.
Geum Sae Rok got the offer to portray the role of Oh Mi Sook, she currently works as a sales representative at Typhoon Company. She started working at an early age after her parents passed away. She previously worked in the accounting department but after the company suffered from the IMF crisis, she got an offer from the CEO to be the sales representative.
Meanwhile, Lee Jun Ho will reportedly play the role of Kang Tae Poong. He is the current CEO of Typhoon Company. He will do everything to protect the family business that his late father built.
Typhoon Boss will premiere in 2025 and it will exclusively air on tvN.
Geum Sae Rok is currently starring in the KBS weekend K-drama Iron Family. She is working alongside Kim Jung Hyun, Choi Tae Joon, Yang Hye Ji, Shin Hyun Joon, and Park Ji Young.
The actress is known for being part of the K-dramas Soundtrack #2, The Interest of Love, Youth of May, Class of Lies, The Fiery Priest, and more.
