Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min will reportedly team up for a new SBS K-drama!

On December 23, media outlets reported that Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min will lead the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama Would You Marry Me

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of writer Lee Ha Na who is known for creating the K-dramas Rookie Cops, The Time We Were Not in Love, and Cunning Single Lady. 

According to reports, Choi Woo Shik is already reviewing the offer to star in the K-drama. Meanwhile, Jung So Min’s side hasn’t responded to the casting reports yet. 

Would You Marry Me will tell the story of a newlywed life of a fake couple. There are no details yet on the characters that were offered to Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min. 

The upcoming K-drama will reportedly premiere in the second half of 2025. 

If Choi Woo Shik confirms his casting, this will be his second rom-com K-drama for next year. The actor will also star in the upcoming K-drama Melo Movie with Park Bo Young, Lee Jun Young, Jeon So Nee, Kim Jae Wook, and Cha Woo Min. 

Choi Woo Shik will also lead the Disney+ fantasy K-drama The Waking. 

Meanwhile, this will possibly be Jung So Min’s follow-up K-drama project after the successful 2024 series Love Next Door with Jung Hae In, Kim Ji Eun, Yun Ji On, Park Ji Young, and Jo Han Chul. 

This year, Choi Woo Shik led the works A Killer Paradox and Wonderland.

Jung So Min is known for leading the romance K-dramas Alchemy of Souls, Monthly Magazine Home, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Because This Is My First Life, Playful Kiss, and more.
