Park Seo Joon has confirmed his next K-drama project.
On January 6, it was officially confirmed that Park Seo Joon will lead the upcoming JTBC K-drama Waiting for Gyeong Do. It was previously reported that Park Seo Joon will lead the K-drama alongside actress Won Ji An. Only Park Seo Joon has confirmed his casting.
Waiting for Gyeong Do is a romantic comedy K-drama about a couple who first dated in their 20s and got reunited at an unexpected moment in their lives. They will reunite again as a reporter of an affair scandal; the other is the wife involved in the reported scandal.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Im Hyun Wook (King the Land and Reflection of You) and writer Yoo Young Ah (Dog Days, Thirty-Nine, Kim Ji Young: Born 1982, and Encounter).
Waiting for Gyeong Do will officially premiere on JTBC. The airing date has not been officially confirmed yet.

Park Seo Joon will portray the role named Lee Gyeong Do. He is an entertainment reporter from Dongwoon Ilbo. He will reconnect with her ex-girlfriend Seo Ji Woo after she gets assigned to report a cheating scandal.
This will be the comeback of Park Seo Joon to the rom-com genre after seven years, The last time Park Seo Joon starred in a rom-com was in 2018 through the K-drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.
Last year, Park Seo Joon led the Netflix K-drama Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 with Han So Hee, Bae Hyeon Seong, Lee Moo Saeng, Heo Jun Seok, and Han Dong Hee.
